Problem Note 30928: Delete button removes wrong variable in the Sort Task within the SAS® Add-In For Microsoft Office
Once the pull-down menu for the first variable has been opened, the first variable can no longer be deleted by the X button. If the X button is selected, it will remove the second variable instead.
These steps replicate the problem:
- Open SASHELP.CLASS into a worksheet.
- Select Name, Sex and Age for the variables to display.
- Go to Sort tab and configure the sort in the following order:
- Pull down the first Sort (Name) and re-select Name.
- Click on X button of the first Sort. The second sort (Sex) disappears instead of Name.
